State Funeral Of Former Governor Mark Maulkinkski

RUFUS - Today we are marking the State Funeral Of New Shire's 43rd Governor, Mark Maulkinkski who died on November 10, 2023, from undisclosed causes, and will be laid to rest on November 15, 2023. Governor Thomas Cooke and Speaker Mitch Cantebury agreed to reverse House Resolution 1798 which previously blocked the former Governor from receiving a State Funeral following his Impeachment on October 3, 2023.

The former Governor's body has made its way to our State's capitol Viewing hours will be from 10 AM - 5 PM, daily. The New Shire State Police will be doing security screening. The viewing will only be available during the times listed on this website as any other hours for viewing may not be accurate or up to date.
